In 1923 , Robert and Wilhelm Kuhlmann founded a cabinetmaker's workshop in the town of Enger near Bielefeld . The concept: “Making technically high-quality furniture according to personal requirements.” With the specialization on kitchens at the start of the 50's, the foundation was laid for future developments; in 1974, the story continued with the move to the new production, showroom, and administrative facility in Enger-Oldinghausen.

Here between the Wiehengebirge and Teutoburger Wald , future-oriented companies in the furniture, textile, and plastics industry have found their economic home.
